Training Sunday – new season starts here

Just a couple of days to go now...The 2006 season kicks off with pre-season training on Sunday 8th Jan, 10.30 am, at the usual place. It's important everyone attends as we have a lot to discuss and sort out with regards to the team for the new season. Want to give Flag Football a go?No Kit NecessaryFor those who have turned up here by accident or those that just want to know what we spend our Sunday's doing in Chichester, here is a very brief overview of Flag Football...Flag Football is a (pretty much) non-contact version of American Football. The game is played as 5-a-side and teaches the fundamentals of American Football. The big difference is you tackle by removing the flag (not the head) of the opposition. Shark in Hall of Fame…but which one?

It has been announced that there is currently a tie for the final spot in this year's Hall of Fame class.Each year the ESFL allows its members to vote in a number of players (this year its 2) to the league's Hall of Fame. The first player has been announced - Craig Broughton of the Leicester Eagles - but two Sharks QB Nick Watson and WR Pete Steel are currently tied for 2nd. Only one can make it, but which one?It's such a difficult decision considering each has contributed significantly to the success of the other.
