The Chichester Sharks American Flag Football Club compete in the BAFL Flag league.
Prior to 2008, we were a member of the English Senior Flag League, winning the National title in 2007 and 2003. Over our 6 year ESFL history, we were one of the most successful flag football teams in the UK, finishing in the top 3 every year bar our first. No other team in the league’s 7 year history won more games than the Sharks – winning 69 of 119 competitive matches.
Many of our players have represented both England and Great Britain at international events.
In 2008 we joined the new BAFL Flag league, believing it to be the future of flag football in the UK and a great opportunity to participate in the growth of our great sport.

It is important to us that we create a positive, enjoyable and safe environment for everyone involved in the club. That’s why we ensure we have qualified coaches and first aiders at all our games and training sessions. We also have a club constitution and team rules that every player and coach agrees to follow.
To ensure the club runs smoothly, we have an elected committee who look after the best interests of the club.
