Training Camp This Weekend

This Sunday sees the first ever Chichester Sharks training camp, held at Christ’s Hospital, near Horsham.

The camp will be run by Head Coach Dayle Kirby, with assistance from coaches Dave Lee and Neil Henderson and the club committee. The day will involve a mixture of classroom and on field elements, designed to prepare us for the inaugural 2008 BAFL Flag season.

The morning classroom sessions will include a review of both the offensive and defensive playbooks, before taking to the field to put the learnings into practise in the afternoon.

There is a minimal fee of £2 each to pay for the day. Could you also please bring a packed lunch or cash for a trip to the supermarket?

The day starts at 10 a.m. sharp, as there is a lot to get through in the morning so please don’t be late. The day is scheduled to end at 5 p.m.

Dayle has tentatively booked a table at a local Indian restaurant (12 dish buffet for £8.95!) for 6.00 p.m. Please let us know if you’re interested in staying for this part too.

After the meal, Dayle had offered to host a Madden tournament back in his classroom for those that are interested.

This is a great opportunity to get a head start on the season and to ensure everyone properly understands the playbook before our first game the following weekend - so please make every effort to come along.

For those needing directions, here is the postcode - RH13 0YP
